About the position

Sunny Days Christian Preschool is seeking a dedicated and passionate Infant/Toddler Teacher to join our family-owned preschool in Frisco, TX. With over 20 years of experience in providing exceptional early childhood education, we pride ourselves on creating a nurturing and faith-based environment for both children and staff. As an Infant/Toddler Teacher, you will play a crucial role in the development and care of children aged 6 weeks to 30 months. This position is part-time, with expected hours ranging from 30 to 40 per week, and the working hours will be between 8:30 am to 6:30 pm, Monday to Friday. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, supervising, and teaching infants and toddlers in accordance with our daily schedule and curriculum. You will need to tailor our educational program to meet the individual needs, interests, and learning styles of each child. Effective classroom management strategies and the incorporation of age-appropriate activities are essential components of this position. Attention to detail and a strong commitment to safety are crucial, as you will be responsible for the well-being of the children in your care. We welcome candidates with childcare experience, but we also encourage those who may not have direct experience but possess a strong desire to work with young children to apply. Responsibilities

  • Plan and implement age-appropriate activities for infants and toddlers.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • CPR Certification is required.
  • Experience in infant/toddler care is preferred, with at least 1 year of experience.
  • Classroom experience is preferred.
