About the position

This position is for a Manager in the Cybersecurity, Privacy, and Forensics team at PwC, focusing on helping clients address critical business and data protection challenges. The role involves driving strategic programs, data analytics, and technical implementation activities while managing information governance to protect businesses in a rapidly evolving landscape. The Manager will lead teams, develop governance controls, and ensure effective information risk management, all while fostering an inclusive and authentic leadership culture.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a variety of viewpoints to build consensus and create positive outcomes for all parties.
  • Develop a perspective on key global trends and their impact on the firm and clients.
  • Coach team members and encourage ownership of their development.
  • Analyze complex ideas or proposals and build meaningful recommendations.
  • Address sub-standard work or work that does not meet expectations.
  • Pursue opportunities to develop existing and new skills outside of comfort zone.
  • Focus on building trusted relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Lead project planning, engagement administration, budget management, and successful completion of engagement work streams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a related field.
  • Preferred certifications include EDM Council DCAM Certified Assessor, Data Governance & Stewardship Professional (DGSP), and DAMA Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP).
  • Extensive experience managing projects related to Data Governance strategy, architecture, and technology implementation.
  • Knowledge of governance models to support data governance efforts in an enterprise setting.
  • Experience leading Data Governance projects to define strategy, operating model, policies, and tool design.
  • Familiarity with major data governance enterprise platforms such as Collibra, Alation, or Informatica.
  • Experience with data analysis and enterprise metadata management, especially in Privacy and Data Lifecycle use cases.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of data privacy, data protection, and regulatory aspects of data governance.
  • Experience with data discovery tools like BigID, OneTrust, Microsoft.
  • Understanding of information governance and data lifecycle management, including retention management.
  • Experience in data modeling in SQL Server and Oracle environments.
  • Ability to write SQL queries across various RDBMS platforms.
