About the position
The InfoSec Advisory Analyst position involves managing security incidents, performing vulnerability assessments, and advising on security configurations for cloud environments. This role is hybrid, requiring three days a week on-site in Ewing, NJ, and is structured as a contract-to-hire opportunity.
Responsibilities
- Managing and responding to security incidents
- Performing vulnerability scans and penetration testing
- Developing security standards for AWS and Azure environments
- Advising on SIEM implementations and configurations
- Participating in a cross-functional incident response team
- On call responsibilities
- Advising on secure configurations for AWS and Azure environments
- Developing hardening standards for systems
- Recommending and implementing security incident management systems (SIM)
Requirements
- Experience with CrowdStrike as the primary EDR tool for endpoint monitoring and incident response
- Experience with Varonis for data protection and monitoring
- Expertise in SIEM systems to develop or recommend one
- Experience with Mimecast or similar security email gateway tools
- Required experience with cloud platforms, specifically AWS and Azure
