About the position

The InfoSec Senior Change Delivery Specialist at Truist is responsible for overseeing portfolio management, governance, and reporting processes that align with the strategic objectives of Information Security. This role involves leading cross-functional teams to execute large programs, ensuring adherence to standard change program protocols, and contributing to the development of governance processes. The specialist will also manage multiple deliverables, provide guidance to security delivery teams, and identify areas for process improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and document processes to support Portfolio Project Methodology and Governance processes.
  • Provide oversight and guidance to security delivery teams to ensure standard project protocols are met.
  • Serve as an individual contributor with ownership of portfolio management, quality assurance, governance, and reporting routines.
  • Handle multiple deliverables for the CCS Delivery team, including data analysis and workflow diagrams.
  • Work in an indirect leadership capacity to influence collaboration and adherence to program delivery governance processes.
  • Systematically review components of processes to identify potential areas of improvement.

Requirements

  • BA/BS in IT, Computer Science, MIS, Economics, Finance, or Operations Management.
  • 10+ years of experience in consulting, project management, or process improvement.
  • Advanced understanding of project management frameworks and ability to implement large-scale initiatives.
  • Demonstrated understanding of business and technology organization, resources, priorities, needs, and policies.
  • Advanced understanding of process improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma).
  • Knowledge of holistic banking/investment platforms, products, services, operations, finance, and systems.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence others.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze complex problems and make decisions under pressure.

Nice-to-haves

  • 5 to 10 years of experience in the financial services industry or consulting.
  • Large IT Portfolio Management and reporting experience.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
  • Process Improvement Professional (e.g., Six Sigma certification).
  • 5 years of experience in Information Security and Cyber Security.
  • Knowledge or experience in Information Security projects, Incident Response, and Identity Access Management.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office software products, including advanced Excel and PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, Project, and Visio.
