About the position

The Info Security Analyst at LG Electronics is responsible for managing all IT-related security and safety issues within the company. This role involves overseeing the implementation of security procedures, educating employees on security awareness, and ensuring the security and accessibility of company data. The analyst will also analyze vulnerabilities, monitor unusual activities, and support security tools to prevent breaches, while maintaining the physical security of the office environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all IT-related security and safety issues within the company.
  • Adapt systems and policies developed by HQ.
  • Oversee the implementation of procedures to secure company data and educate employees in security awareness and procedures.
  • Ensure that all company data is kept secure and accessible.
  • Analyze possible vulnerabilities and monitor unusual activity to prevent or mitigate breaches.
  • Configure and support security tools such as firewalls, anti-virus software, and patch management systems.
  • Provide end user support and policy management for PC Plus administration.
  • Manage access control and CCTV systems for the Troy Office.
  • Create and manage new hire access cards and visitor passes, and deactivate access for separated employees.
  • Produce log files for internal reports and audit/legal purposes.
  • Coordinate repair, replacements, and new installations of security systems.
  • Maintain a secure office environment by coordinating data destruction and collaborating with Building Operations.
  • Produce physical security and PC Plus portions of the monthly global security audit.
  • Oversee and maintain all aspects of the company's computer infrastructure, including networks, servers, and PCs.
  • Implement systems to prevent malware infections of company hardware.
  • Maintain video conference equipment and LG signage display infrastructure at LGEVU Office.
  • Coordinate local event testing/setup/support.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in IT or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience and knowledge in IT.
  • Ability to work on-site daily.
  • Bilingual in both English and Korean.
