About the position

The Info Security Analyst at LG Electronics is responsible for managing all IT-related security and safety issues within the company. This role involves adapting systems and policies developed by headquarters, overseeing the implementation of security procedures, and educating employees on security awareness. The analyst ensures the security and accessibility of company data, analyzes vulnerabilities, monitors unusual activities, and configures security tools. Additionally, the position includes responsibilities related to physical security, access control, and maintaining the company's computer infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all IT-related security and safety issues within the company.
  • Adapt systems and policies developed by HQ.
  • Oversee the implementation of procedures to secure company data and educate employees in security awareness and procedures.
  • Ensure that all company data is kept secure and accessible.
  • Analyze possible vulnerabilities and monitor unusual activity to prevent or mitigate breaches.
  • Configure and support security tools such as firewalls, anti-virus software, and patch management systems.
  • Administer PC Plus: end user support and policy management.
  • Manage Troy Office access control and CCTV systems.
  • Create new hire access cards and issue/manage visitor passes.
  • Deactivate separated employee access cards and produce log files for internal reports and audits.
  • Create/modify/terminate system accounts for tenant group access card and Security Portal use.
  • Maintain a secure office environment by coordinating data destruction and collaborating with Building Operations for installations.
  • Produce physical security and PC Plus portions of the monthly global security audit.
  • Oversee and maintain all aspects of the company's computer infrastructure, including networks, servers, and PCs.
  • Implement systems to prevent malware infections of company hardware.
  • Maintain video conference equipment and LG signage display infrastructure at LGEVU Office.
  • Provide end user support and coordinate local event testing/setup/support.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in IT or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience and knowledge in IT.
  • Ability to work on-site daily.
  • Bilingual in both English and Korean.
