About the position

The Informatica Developer position at MultiPlan is a key role within the Data Management team, focusing on developing and deploying engineering and integration solutions. The role involves collaborating with Data Architects and the Machine Learning Team to implement data solutions utilizing big data and cloud technologies, while also creating technical specifications and test plans. The developer will support data solutions across the enterprise, ensuring that business processes are accurately modeled and executed.

Responsibilities

  • Understand business processes and how they are modeled in various systems.
  • Work with business users and technology teams to understand their data needs and create innovative solutions.
  • Design, organize, and implement data structures, workflows, and integrations between enterprise platforms.
  • Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and build new API integrations to support increasing data volume and complexity.
  • Guide decisions and establish best practices on data integration/engineering and the future of data infrastructure.
  • Manage and improve the performance of databases, queries, tools, and solutions.
  • Create and maintain data warehouses, databases, tables, SQL queries, and ingestion pipelines for reporting and analysis.
  • Write complex and efficient queries to transform raw data into accessible models for teams and reporting platforms.
  • Prepare data for predictive and prescriptive modeling.
  • Identify and analyze data patterns to improve reliability, efficiency, and quality.
  • Collaborate with analytics, data science, and engineering teams to automate data analysis and visualization needs.

Requirements

  • Experience with Informatica and data integration tools.
  • Strong understanding of SQL and database management.
  • Proficiency in big data technologies and cloud platforms.
  • Ability to design and implement data structures and workflows.
  • Experience in developing scalable data pipelines and API integrations.
  • Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and practices.
  • Strong analytical skills to identify data patterns and improve data quality.
