Responsibilities

• Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Database Engineering.
• Review and analyze complex multi-faceted, larger scale or longer-term Database Engineering challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors.
• Contribute to the resolution of complex and multi-faceted situations requiring solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
• Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel.

Requirements

• 5+ years of Database Engineering experience or equivalent through work, consulting, training, military experience, or education.
• 8+ years of solid experience working with ETL Informatica / Ab Initio development.
• 5+ years strong experience in ETL development of data pipelines for data ingestion, preparation, integration, aggregation, and feature engineering.
• 4+ years of experience working with SQL Server databases.
• 5+ years' experience migrating legacy data platforms to cloud and modern architecture.
• 4+ years of Unix Shell scripting experience.
• 2+ years' experience with semi-structured data and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• 3+ years of Agile experience.
• Ability to present to multiple levels of management.
• Experience analyzing large data sets and identifying trends.
