About the position

The Informatica IICS Developer / Data Integration Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing data integration solutions using Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS). This role focuses on ETL processes, data transformation, and integration workflows to ensure efficient data management and delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop data integration workflows, mappings, and transformations using Informatica IICS.
  • Implement ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into target systems.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Optimize ETL processes for performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for data integration processes and workflows.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data integration issues and performance bottlenecks.
  • Perform data validation and quality checks to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Stay up-to-date with Informatica IICS features, best practices, and emerging trends in data integration.
  • Work closely with the data engineering and analytics teams to support data-driven initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Hands on experience in data integration and ETL development with Informatica IICS.
  • Proficiency in designing and implementing data workflows, mappings, and transformations.
  • Strong understanding of relational databases, SQL, and data modeling concepts.
  • Experience with other Informatica products (e.g., PowerCenter) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with AWS cloud platform and data warehousing solutions.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Certification in Informatica IICS or related technologies.
  • Experience with data governance and data quality tools.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell) for automation tasks.
