The position provides specialized informational and technical support for the Revenue Cycle department, acting as a resource for staff and leadership. The role focuses on enhancing productivity through timely reporting and the development of metrics, ensuring that the unique needs of the department are met effectively.

Responsibilities

• Provide dedicated technical support for the Revenue Cycle department.
• Serve as the Patient Access systems resource for staff and leadership.
• Enhance productivity within the Revenue Cycle through timely reporting and development of metrics.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• 5 years of Revenue Cycle experience, including advanced end-user roles or related system informatics experience.
• 2 years of Health Information Management (HIM) experience.
• Experience with HIM software application/solution design, testing, and implementation.
• Demonstrated understanding of all aspects of the specific Revenue Cycle department assigned.
• Demonstrated understanding of all integral components of HIM.
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Access, Word, and PowerPoint).
• Willingness and ability to be available for system support during non-business hours.
• Excellent critical thinking and analytical skills.
• Strong problem-solving ability.
• Strong medical knowledge base.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to relate regulations to Revenue Cycle IT issues.
