About the position

The Informatics Specialist is responsible for providing expertise and support for clinical workflows within the Epic Electronic Health Record (EHR) platform. This role involves collaboration with clinical and administrative leaders to establish support, goals, and implementation plans, ensuring effective communication and assistance to both clinical and non-clinical personnel regarding system functionality and workflows.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-depth knowledge and support of clinical workflows in the Epic EHR platform.
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative leaders to establish support and implementation plans.
• Communicate effectively with clinical and non-clinical personnel regarding system functionality.
• Assist in the implementation and support of clinical IT projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
• Master's degree in nursing informatics preferred.
• Epic Clinical Informaticist Certification required within the first year of employment.
• 1-3 years of nursing informatics experience preferred.
• 1-3 years of training experience required.
• 3-5 years of experience in hospital-based nursing practice required.
• Experience with Epic applications preferred.

Nice-to-haves

• Epic credentialed is a plus but willing to train the right candidate.
• Strong interest and aptitude for technology.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Suite of applications required.

• Full-time position with a competitive hourly wage ranging from $38.58 to $50.36.
