About the position

The Informatics Specialist at INTEGRIS Health plays a crucial role in delivering informatics solutions that enhance healthcare practices. This position involves working on projects from planning through implementation and adoption, utilizing knowledge in clinical sciences, computer science, and information technology to manage and process data effectively. The role supports the mission of INTEGRIS Health by ensuring that caregivers and the community receive exceptional support through innovative informatics solutions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver informatics solutions that support healthcare practices from planning through implementation and adoption.
• Design and utilize informatics solutions aligned with the vision and mission of INTEGRIS Health.
• Identify, collect, process, and manage data using knowledge of clinical sciences and information technology.
• Support the training and development of caregivers in the use of informatics solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field or science field.
• 5 years of clinical or health technology experience, with at least 1 year of experience in systems implementation, design, and/or analysis.
• For licensed disciplines, possession and maintenance of licensure in accordance with Oklahoma State law.
• Professional certification such as Nursing Informatics Specialist or RHIA preferred.
• Demonstrated computer literacy with strong knowledge of software applications.
• Experience in training or teaching others.
• Strong project leadership, organizational, and planning skills.
• Effective communication skills in English (verbal and written).

Nice-to-haves

• Master's degree in a healthcare-related field or science field.
• Professional certification in Nursing Informatics or RHIA.
