About the position

As an Information Analyst Lead within the Chief Financial Office, you will play a crucial role in conducting and developing quantitative and analytic models, assessments, and applications in various areas such as Treasury operations, capital markets, forecasting, scenario planning, and financial risk management. This position is designed for a dedicated professional who can lead and execute complex initiatives and collaborate with cross-functional teams across the enterprise. In this role, you will be responsible for developing metrics and decision frameworks that align with key business objectives. You will apply your specialized analytical knowledge to assess future risks and opportunities, translating your findings into meaningful solutions that enhance strategic decision-making. Your ability to present complex data and analytical results to senior leadership will be essential, as will your expertise in developing systems and programs that measure aggregate risk exposures. You will also be tasked with producing advanced analytical materials to facilitate discussions with cross-functional teams and senior leadership, ensuring that risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled in accordance with risk and compliance policies. As a mentor, you will provide guidance to team members during the peer review process, fostering a collaborative environment that drives effective business outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Develop metrics and decision frameworks to achieve key business objectives.
  • Apply specialized analytical knowledge to assess future risks and opportunities.
  • Translate results into meaningful solutions to enhance strategic decision making and present findings to senior leadership.
  • Develop complex systems and programs that measure aggregate risk exposures.
  • Develop quantitative financial or economic models and perform model validations, presenting results to senior leadership.
  • Apply innovative and scientific/quantitative analytical approaches to draw conclusions and make recommendations.
  • Translate highly analytical recommendations into comprehensible communication materials for senior leadership.
  • Provide subject matter expertise in operationalizing recommendations within the business.
  • Produce advanced analytical material to lead discussions with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
  • Drive and create cross-functional teams in support of initiatives that significantly impact the enterprise or core business area.
  • Provide direction and mentorship to other team members in the peer review process.
  • Communicate analytical results, findings, and solutions to governance committees and business process owners.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Actuarial Sciences, or other quantitative discipline; OR 4 years of related experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
  • 8 years of related quantitative analysis experience, including statistical analysis, modeling, and engineering; OR advanced degree/designation in a relevant field with 6 years of experience; OR PhD in a relevant field with up to 4 years of experience.
  • 6 years experience working with complex analytical tools and data.
  • 2 years experience producing and presenting complex data related to strategic business activities.
  • Experience gathering and leading cross-functional teams to produce effective business outcomes.
  • Experience coaching and leading team members related to quantitative analysis and communications.

Nice-to-haves

  • Demonstrated experience in the development of information architecture and data strategy.
  • Proven experience in data analysis, data modeling, and data remediation.
  • Working knowledge of large financial institution regulations pertaining to data and analytics.
  • US military experience through military service or as a military spouse/domestic partner.
