About the position
As an Information and Communications Technology (ICT) / Low Voltage Systems Designer at Code Consultants Inc. (CCI), you will be responsible for designing advanced communication and low voltage systems. This role involves collaborating with team members and clients, contributing to project planning, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. The position offers opportunities for professional growth and the chance to work on significant projects across the U.S. and Canada.
Responsibilities
- Designing ICT systems including voice/data-CU/FO & OSP cable plants, RF design for DAS, Wi-Fi, TIA/BICSI/NEC infrastructure and grounding, AV, ESS, digital signage, and more.
- Collaborating with CCI team members, clients, and interfacing with Building/Fire Officials.
- Supporting Project Managers by contributing to project planning and execution.
- Contributing to the growth and development of your office and CCI as a whole.
- Traveling throughout the U.S. and Canada as needed to meet project requirements.
Requirements
- 3-5 years or more of experience in ICT design and/or consulting.
- A related technical or engineering degree.
- BICSI RCDD credential.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit software.
- Strong critical thinking skills to solve technical and functional problems.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- A solid understanding of industry standards and codes related to ICT systems.
- Motivation for growth and the drive to contribute to the success of CCI and its clients.
