About the position

The Information Center Attendant I position at the Lebanon Welcome Center involves providing exceptional customer service and information to visitors, promoting New Hampshire's attractions, and maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the facility. This part-time role requires flexibility in scheduling, including availability on weekends and weekdays, with a total of 12 to 24 hours of work per week.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service and information to visitors about New Hampshire area attractions.
• Direct visitors to services using brochures, websites, and other resources.
• Assist travelers in highway and personal emergencies as needed.
• Perform general interior and exterior grounds upkeep, including custodial duties and snow removal.
• Maintain inventory of janitorial supplies and travel literature, alerting the supervisor when supplies are low.
• Assist the marketing team by communicating and promoting the State's campaign throughout the Welcome and Information Centers.
• Maintain a working knowledge of traveler information by attending seminars and training as required.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Completion of 8th grade or its equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years old on or before the date of application.
• Ability to stand for long periods, negotiate stairs, and lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
