About the position

The Red Gate Group is seeking a skilled Information Operations Policy Analyst - (Technical Program Analyst) to support the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Special Operations/Low Intensity Conflict (ASD SOLIC) in Arlington, VA. This role is critical to supporting policy development, strategic planning, and operational guidance within key areas such as counterterrorism, information operations, irregular warfare, and counter unmanned systems. The ASD SOLIC is responsible for the oversight of all Department of Defense (DoD) policies and plans concerning special operations, making this position vital for maintaining national security and countering emerging threats. As an Information Operations Policy Analyst, you will provide expertise in overseeing and integrating policy, strategy, and resource management for Operations in the Information Environment (OIE). Your responsibilities will include drafting directives, instructions, and other policy documents to guide DoD efforts in countering misinformation and disinformation. You will also develop comprehensive risk management processes to mitigate risks associated with information operations and craft legislative engagement strategies to support these activities. Additionally, you will prepare briefings, position papers, and other materials for senior DoD leadership, providing critical support on policy matters affecting Special Operations and OIE. This position is perfect for a highly motivated analyst with strong experience in special operations and information operations policy, ready to contribute to the strategic mission of ASD SOLIC. Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Active Top Secret (TS) Clearance
  • Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS)
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in Special Operations
