About the position
The Information Security 3 position is a senior-level role focused on providing professional support for the company's information security infrastructure. The role involves developing and implementing security architecture, standards, and procedures across various platforms and system environments. It requires consulting with business and operational personnel on technology matters, recommending security tools, and addressing high-risk security concerns.
Responsibilities
- Provide professional support for major components of the company's information security infrastructure.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of security architecture, standards, procedures, and guidelines.
- Consult with business and operational infrastructure personnel regarding new and existing technologies.
- Recommend new security tools to management and provide guidance in their implementation.
- Review and analyze complex data to provide insights, conclusions, and actionable recommendations.
- Define, implement, and apply area-wide security and/or COB policies and standards.
- Address high-risk security concerns or incidents.
- Recommend actions to mitigate risk and ensure appropriate standards are established.
Requirements
- In-depth knowledge of globally accepted information security principles.
- Experience with security architecture and standards development.
- Proficiency in using Qualys for scans and assessments.
- Understanding of Docker for container security.
- Knowledge of cloud vulnerability compliance and architecture.
- Experience with IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS security practices.
