About the position

The Information Security Analyst/Advanced (Cybersecurity Lead) position is responsible for leading a cybersecurity team and ensuring the security and operational reliability of IT systems supporting the LAAFB mission. This role involves coordinating with the Base Cybersecurity Office and overseeing the Risk Management Framework (RMF) processes for various networks.

Responsibilities

• Leading the Cybersecurity team.
• Coordinating with the Base Cybersecurity Office (BCO) to ensure continuous security, operational availability, and reliability of IT systems and equipment supporting the LAAFB mission.
• Overseeing the RMF process for NIPRNet and SIPRNet, and all those required by the PWS.

Requirements

• BS degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science from an ABET accredited or CAE designated institution.
• 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Certification: CGRC/CAP or CASP+ or CCSP or Cloud+ or SSCP or Security+ or GSEC.
