About the position

The Information Security Analyst - Associate position at Baptist Health is a part-time internship role focused on supporting the Information Security team. This remote position requires residency in Kentucky or Indiana and involves working under moderate supervision. The analyst will engage in various information security functions, including security governance, audit and compliance, identity and access management, and data protection. The role emphasizes collaboration with IT teams to ensure security oversight and guidance, as well as participation in the review and update of security policies and standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist in various information security functions related to security governance, audit & compliance, identity and access management, and data protection.
• Collaborate with IT teams to provide security oversight and guidance.
• Participate in the review and update process for security policies and standards.
• Support third-party risk management and security program strategy.

Requirements

• High School/GED required; bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, engineering, or related area preferred.
• Experience utilizing security tools such as CrowdStrike Falcon, Splunk, Nexpose, CyberArk, Ordr, Fidelis, Cisco Umbrella, Duo, and Cloudflare.
• Knowledge of firewall management, IT, IoT, and IoMT vulnerability and asset management.
• Experience in enterprise server, endpoint, identity management, and system administration.

Nice-to-haves

• Security certifications such as Sec+, CySA+, CEH, CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CISA, GIAC preferred but not required.
