About the position

The Information Security Analyst - Associate (Part-time Internship) at Baptist Health is a remote position focused on supporting the Information Security team. This role involves working under moderate supervision to assist with various information security functions, including security governance, compliance, identity and access management, and data protection. The analyst will collaborate with IT teams to provide security oversight and participate in the review and update of security policies and standards, requiring a moderate understanding of cybersecurity domains and regulatory compliance in the healthcare sector.

Responsibilities

• Assist in security governance and compliance activities.
• Support identity and access management processes.
• Participate in third-party risk management initiatives.
• Contribute to data protection efforts and security program strategy.
• Collaborate with IT teams to provide security oversight and guidance.
• Review and update security policies and standards.

Requirements

• High School/GED required; Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, engineering, or related field preferred.
• Experience with security tools such as CrowdStrike Falcon, Splunk, Nexpose, CyberArk, Ordr, Fidelis, Cisco Umbrella, Duo, and Cloudflare.
• Knowledge of firewall management and IT, IoT, IoMT vulnerability and asset management.
• Experience in enterprise server, endpoint, identity management, and system administration.

Nice-to-haves

• Security certifications such as Sec+, CySA+, CEH, CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CISA, GIAC preferred but not required.
