About the position

As an Information Security Analyst - I at Intelliswift Software Inc., you will play a crucial role in safeguarding our technology products and solutions. In this role, you will work closely with the Security Operations Center (SOC) team, contributing to Level 1 and Level 2 operations. You will be expected to understand the cyber kill chain and incident response methodologies, ensuring that you can effectively respond to security incidents as they arise. Your proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint, will aid in reporting and presenting findings to stakeholders. Additionally, public speaking skills will be beneficial as you may need to communicate security issues and strategies to various audiences. Responsibilities

  • Monitor and analyze security incidents using Splunk.
  • Utilize SQL for database management and querying.
  • Develop scripts and automate processes using Python or R.
  • Assist in Level 1 and Level 2 SOC operations.
  • Prepare reports and presentations using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Communicate security issues and strategies effectively to stakeholders.

Requirements

  • High background check or secret clearance required.
  • Experience with Splunk for security monitoring.
  • Proficiency in SQL and database management.
  • Strong knowledge of the cyber kill chain and incident response.
  • Experience in Security Operations Center (SOC) environments.
  • Coding experience, preferably in Python and/or R.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Public speaking skills.
