About the position

The Information Security Analyst (Identity) at Boston Medical Center is responsible for shaping the security and risk landscape by assessing the impact of new technologies and strategies. This role involves developing and applying IT security measures to minimize data loss, enhance system integrity, and reduce downtime. The analyst will work collaboratively within a high-performance team to identify, report, and resolve security violations while enforcing IT infrastructure security policies and standards. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential for presenting security data to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Management, or related fields.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in information security/privacy and risk management.
  • Experience in developing and implementing compliance monitoring processes and procedures.
  • Strong knowledge of information systems security concepts and current trends.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to prepare formal reports and presentations.

Nice-to-haves

  • Professional certifications (CISA, CISSP, CRISC) are highly desirable.
  • Experience in academic medical center or health care consulting.
