About the position

The Mid-Level Information Security Analyst role at Kforce involves analyzing business requirements and translating them into technical specifications for ServiceNow solutions. The position focuses on designing, developing, and customizing applications on the ServiceNow platform, while also providing technical support and collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for ServiceNow solutions
  • Design and develop custom applications and modules on the ServiceNow platform
  • Configure and customize existing ServiceNow applications, including Service Catalog, Incident Management, Change Management, and Problem Management
  • Develop and maintain workflows, forms, and user interfaces to improve user experience and efficiency
  • Integrate ServiceNow with other business systems using APIs and web services
  • Create and maintain scripts to automate tasks and processes within ServiceNow
  • Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to provide insights into ServiceNow data
  • Troubleshoot and resolve ServiceNow issues and incidents reported by users
  • Provide technical support and guidance to ServiceNow users
  • Collaborate with business analysts, stakeholders, and other IT team members to gather requirements and ensure successful project delivery

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related scientific or technical field and three (5) years minimum of relevant experience
  • 5+ years of proven experience as a ServiceNow Developer with a strong understanding of the platform's architecture and capabilities
  • Preferred to have experience in water and wastewater industry understanding of oracle utility applications
  • Demonstrated experience working on large-scale projects in diverse team environments with a focus on ServiceNow development tools and techniques, including scripting in JavaScript, Jelly, and AngularJS
  • Strong understanding of ITIL framework and best practices
  • Experience with ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, ITBM and CSM
  • Experience integrating ServiceNow with other systems using APIs, web services, and middleware technologies
  • Ability to design and implement automated workflows to streamline processes
  • Familiarity with cloud computing concepts and platforms (e.g., Azure)
  • Hands-on experience with ServiceNow development tools and techniques
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work closely with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities, especially when working with large, complex data
