About the position

The Information Security Analyst with Top Secret Clearance plays a crucial role in supporting cybersecurity responsibilities and projects for various network systems within the organization. This position involves implementing the appropriate Risk Management Framework, conducting audits, and strategizing IT development and monitoring principles. The analyst will be responsible for performing control reviews, monitoring system vulnerabilities, ensuring data encryption, and overseeing any security breaches that may occur. Additionally, the role encompasses a variety of routine IT tasks that can range in complexity, all aimed at protecting the integrity of computer networks, systems, and data. As part of the cybersecurity team, the Information Security Analyst will work closely with other IT professionals to ensure that all security measures are in place and functioning effectively. This includes staying updated on the latest cybersecurity threats and trends, as well as continuously assessing and improving the organization's security posture. The analyst will also be expected to document processes and procedures, providing clear and concise technical writing to support cybersecurity compliance efforts. This position is essential for maintaining the security and integrity of the organization's information systems and data.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or a related field with four (4) years of relevant experience.
  • Associate's Degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or a related field with six (6) years of experience.
  • High School Degree with ten (10) years of experience or similar education/work experience via customer approval.
  • Strong working knowledge of the English language and experience in technical writing for cybersecurity compliance.
  • Certification-ISC2 CISSP or similar certification via customer approval.
  • Active Secret or Top Secret security clearance.
