About the position

The Information Security Analyst at Cooperative Business Services (CBS) is responsible for safeguarding the organization's assets by implementing, managing, and monitoring security policies, processes, and systems. This role involves assessing potential security risks, coordinating with internal teams to understand operational challenges, developing actionable security strategies, and ensuring regulatory compliance. The position is crucial in maintaining the integrity and security of the organization's information systems while supporting the overall mission of empowering financial institutions with innovative solutions.

Responsibilities

• Implement and manage security policies, processes, and systems.
• Assess potential security risks and develop actionable security strategies.
• Coordinate with internal teams to understand operational challenges.
• Ensure regulatory compliance related to information security.
• Conduct incident management and investigation.
• Perform technology and system security auditing and compliance checks.
• Collaborate across functions and provide training on security policies.
• Prepare and maintain reporting and documentation related to security.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Administration or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years of related experience in information security.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook.
• Experience with CRM software.
• Strong analytical skills to identify areas for improvement.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proven project management experience with complex security initiatives.
• High standards of integrity and confidentiality.
