About the position

As an Information Security Analyst at Informatica, you will be a key member of the Cloud Security Operations and Response Team, responsible for safeguarding the company's cloud business. Your role involves designing and implementing security features, developing automation tools, and participating in security architecture reviews. You will work with cutting-edge technologies to enhance the security posture of Informatica's cloud services, ensuring the safety and reliability of the platform for millions of users.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement security features and controls across software applications and systems.
• Develop and maintain security automation tools and scripts for vulnerability scanning, security testing, and incident response.
• Participate in threat modeling sessions and security architecture reviews.
• Design and deploy secure CI/CD infrastructure.
• Secure Kubernetes (K8s) infrastructure.
• Build RESTful APIs and services.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 3-5 years of software development experience with a focus on security engineering.
• Strong programming skills in one or more languages such as Python, Java, Go, or C++.
• Experience with application security concepts, common vulnerabilities (OWASP Top 10), and secure coding practices.
• Knowledge of cryptography, authentication mechanisms, and security protocols.
• Familiarity with security tools and frameworks for static/dynamic analysis.
• Experience with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
