About the position

The Information Security Analyst 1 position at Sun Cloud LLC is responsible for implementing and managing security measures to protect the organization's information systems. This role involves working with various security frameworks, conducting vulnerability assessments, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. The analyst will also oversee incident management and enhance the vulnerability management program.

Responsibilities

• Implement security measures based on CIS and NIST frameworks.
• Manage security tools such as Rapid7 and NextGen AV systems.
• Run AI models for security analysis.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and propose solutions for identified vulnerabilities.
• Oversee incident management and security response processes.
• Monitor network security and manage DLP, antivirus, and SIEM systems.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and FDA regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, compliance, information management, infrastructure, or information security.
• 5 to 7 years of work experience in information security.
• Experience managing Rapid7 and NextGen AV systems.
• Hands-on experience running AI models.
• Knowledge of information security frameworks such as CIS and NIST.
• Experience with network security, including firewalls, VPN, and IDS/IPS.
• Familiarity with cloud security for AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience managing EDR solutions.
• Previous experience in a HIPAA and FDA regulated environment.
