About the position

The Information Security Analyst at Abacus Technology Corporation is responsible for planning, implementing, upgrading, and monitoring security measures to protect computer networks and information. This role ensures that appropriate security controls are in place to safeguard digital files and vital electronic infrastructure, while also responding to security breaches and viruses.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, upgrade, or monitor security measures for the protection of computer networks and information.
• Ensure appropriate security controls are in place to safeguard digital files and vital electronic infrastructure.
• Respond to computer security breaches and viruses.

Requirements

• 6+ years experience in information security.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field (additional years of experience may substitute for degree requirements).
• Must be Security+ CE certified.
• Experience with reporting, scanning and analysis using ACAS.
• Knowledge of C&A processes and the RMF.
• Experience with eMASS.
• Knowledge of PKI.
• Knowledge of CCRI or similar functions/audits.
• Knowledge of Incident Response Plans (IRP) and incident response executions.
• Excellent technical writing, critical thinking/analytical, oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to communicate IA concepts to technical and nontechnical personnel.
• Ability to develop technical documents and produce system design documentation.
• Excellent customer service skills.
