About the position

Abacus Technology is looking for an Information Security Analyst to support security and information assurance activities at Hanscom AFB. This full-time role involves planning, implementing, and monitoring security measures to protect computer networks and information, ensuring that appropriate security controls are in place to safeguard digital files and vital electronic infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, upgrade, or monitor security measures for the protection of computer networks and information.
• Ensure appropriate security controls are in place that will safeguard digital files and vital electronic infrastructure.
• Respond to computer security breaches and viruses.

Requirements

• 6+ years experience in information security.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field (additional years of experience may be substituted for degree requirements).
• Must be Security+ CE certified.
• Experience with reporting, scanning and analysis using ACAS.
• Knowledge of C&A processes and the RMF.
• Experience with eMASS.
• Knowledge of PKI.
• Knowledge of CCRI or similar functions/audits.
• Knowledge of Incident Response Plans (IRP) and incident response executions.
• Excellent technical writing, critical thinking/analytical, oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to communicate IA concepts to technical and nontechnical personnel.
• Ability to develop technical documents and produce system design documentation.
• Excellent customer service skills.
