About the position

The Information Security Analyst at I2X Technologies plays a crucial role in safeguarding computer networks and information systems for federal government clients. This position involves planning, implementing, and monitoring security measures to protect sensitive data and infrastructure, ensuring compliance with security protocols and regulations. The analyst will also respond to security breaches and maintain system security procedures, contributing to the overall mission effectiveness of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, upgrade, or monitor security measures for the protection of computer networks and information.
• Ensure appropriate security controls are in place to safeguard digital files and vital electronic infrastructure.
• Respond to computer security breaches and viruses.
• Implement information system security requirements and system security plans, ensuring all auditing requirements are completed.
• Ensure all system security procedures are followed, including updates to system security software and antivirus definition files.
• Maintain and review audit files to ensure compliance with security protocols.
• Interface regularly to address issues and ensure compliance with regulations related to Information System Security.
• Provide Information Assurance Officers/Information System Security Manager functions necessary to maintain mission effectiveness.

Requirements

• BS Degree desired
• 5-9 years of experience required
• Experience as a network defender or ISSO on systems up to TS/SCI level (JWICS)
• IAT Level II Certification required
• TS/SCI Clearance required
• US Citizenship is required.
