About the position

The Information Security Analyst plays a crucial role in administering the Information Security Program, focusing on risk assessments and collaborating with IT and business groups to mitigate information security risks. This position involves researching new threats, assisting with incident response programs, and creating risk management reports for bank committees.

Responsibilities

• Assist in administering the Information Security Program
• Conduct Information Security and IT risk assessments as required
• Work with Governance, Risk, Compliance (GRC) Management Platform
• Assess information security risks to data, applications, networks, and platforms
• Research new threats and determine their impact on the Company's environment
• Assist with the Incident Response Programs
• Create IT risk management reports for Bank Committees.

Requirements

• Associate/bachelor degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in information technology or the financial services industry
• Technical understanding of vulnerabilities and how attackers can exploit them
• Familiarity with network technologies such as switches, routers, firewalls, VPNs, and remote connection technologies
• Working knowledge of security technologies such as DLP, SIEM, IDS/IPS, email gateways, web filters, web application firewalls, and Active Directory
• Information system or information system certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, Security+, or other security accreditations are a plus
• Strong interpersonal skills, including proficiency in both oral and written communication
• Strong personal management skills, including time management and organizational skills with attention to detail
• Flexible working schedule to accommodate audits, examinations, or other special reviews.
