About the position

The Information Security Analyst will play a crucial role in evaluating, designing, monitoring, and implementing Information Security systems and processes. This position focuses on mitigating risks, providing guidance on technical issues, and supporting various projects related to Information Security. The analyst will work with cross-functional teams to ensure security controls are in place and will be responsible for the execution of risk and control identification processes.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, design, monitor, administer and implement Information Security systems, policies, and processes.
• Resolve issues and navigate obstacles to deliver work products with minimal supervision.
• Provide advice, guidance, and assistance to managers and users on technical issues related to Information Security risk.
• Assist in determining requirements and recommend system security configurations.
• Support lines of business with Information Security issues and communicate changes in standards and regulations.
• Implement and interpret Information Security policies, guidelines, and standards, including the awareness program.
• Support cross-functional teams through the problem resolution process and troubleshoot noncomplex Information Security issues.
• Perform physical site assessments of business partners and provide peer review of work products.
• Execute Information Security risk and control identification, evaluation, documentation, analysis, and reporting processes.
• Support process owner execution in identifying, developing, and testing Information Security controls for risk mitigation effectiveness.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required; 4 additional years of related experience may substitute for a degree.
• Must be CISSP certified with InfoSec/Data Security experience.
• 4 or more years of relevant work experience.
• Proficient knowledge of relevant technical discipline.
