About the position

The Information Security Business Analyst will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with regulatory and industry information security requirements. This position is based in Atlanta, GA, and requires the candidate to work onsite from day one. The primary responsibility of the analyst will be to review and interpret detailed regulatory and industry information security requirements, ensuring that the organization adheres to necessary compliance standards. The role involves a thorough examination of evidence, including documents and artifacts, to determine their validity as proof of compliance with the specified requirements. In addition to reviewing evidence, the analyst will work directly with subject matter experts (SMEs) and providers of evidence to clarify any gaps or weaknesses identified during the review process. This collaborative effort is essential to ensure that all compliance requirements are met effectively. The analyst will also be responsible for providing clear and concise written results of their reviews, which will be critical for internal reporting and external audits. Candidates for this position should have a solid background in information security and demonstrate an aptitude for understanding and interpreting various regulatory and industry frameworks. Experience in conducting quality control (QC) or quality assurance (QA) testing, as well as compliance testing, is essential. While experience in conducting control testing is not mandatory, it is considered a nice-to-have skill that could enhance the candidate's profile.
