About the position

The Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland is seeking an Information Security Compliance Senior Analyst or Specialist to help maintain the security posture of the Bank. This role involves analyzing the results of the Bank's technical operations, information privacy, and compliance with security controls, while recommending improvements. The successful candidate will collaborate with system counterparts and lead system initiatives, providing high-quality consultative services to the Bank and the Federal Reserve System, particularly during the evaluation or development of new information systems. In this position, you will be responsible for making informed decisions regarding security-related compliance and privacy issues, defining security requirements in accordance with Federal Reserve Information Security Standards. You will work independently to analyze available data and identify new data sets that can enhance Information Security capabilities. Utilizing your expert security knowledge, you will routinely inspect, review, and report on the security posture of the Bank, escalating and mitigating any vulnerabilities identified. Additionally, you will engage in compliance, privacy, and records management activities as required. This role is based in Cleveland, Ohio, and offers a hybrid work arrangement, allowing for a combination of in-office and remote work. Responsibilities

• Analyze results of the Bank's technical operations and information privacy.
• Recommend improvements to maintain compliance with security controls.
• Collaborate with FRS counterparts and lead system Information Security initiatives.
• Independently analyze data and identify new data sets for Information Security capabilities.
• Inspect, review, and report on the security posture of the Bank, escalating vulnerabilities as needed.
• Engage in compliance, privacy, and records management activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree and 5+ years of professional work experience, or Associates Degree and 7+ years of professional work experience, or Information Security Coding Academy Certification and 7+ years of professional work experience for Senior Analyst role.
• Bachelor's Degree, 7+ years of professional work experience, and Industry Recognized Information Security Certification required for Specialist role, or Associates Degree, 9+ years of professional work experience, and Industry Recognized Information Security Certification required.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Productivity Suite.
• Project Management skills.
• Familiarity with NIST risk management frameworks.
• Understanding of Information Privacy and Risk Quantification methods.
• Knowledge of cloud security principles, including DevSecOps.
• Prior experience with information security principles.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
