About the position

The Information Security (InfoSec) Technical Recruiter will play a crucial role in sourcing, recruiting, and hiring top technical talent in the field of information security. This position requires a deep understanding of cybersecurity roles, certifications, and industry standards to effectively meet the organization's growing needs. The recruiter will work closely with internal teams to ensure a smooth recruitment process and provide expert advice on industry trends and candidate availability.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, engage, and attract qualified information security professionals using various recruiting techniques.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of talent for roles such as Security Analysts, Security Engineers, and Penetration Testers.
  • Develop strategies for reaching passive candidates through creative sourcing methods.
  • Conduct initial candidate assessments, including screening resumes and conducting phone interviews.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to define job requirements and develop job descriptions.
  • Evaluate candidates' understanding of security protocols and relevant certifications.
  • Work closely with internal teams to understand current and future hiring needs.
  • Provide expert advice to hiring managers on industry trends and salary benchmarks.
  • Ensure a smooth recruitment process from initial contact to onboarding.
  • Track and report on key recruiting metrics to refine recruitment strategies.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 8-10 years of technical recruiting experience, with at least 5-7 years focused on information security or cybersecurity roles.
  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity concepts, certifications, and industry best practices.
  • Proven ability to recruit for niche and hard-to-fill technical roles in InfoSec.
  • Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruiting tools.

Nice-to-haves

  • Certifications in information security (e.g., CISSP, Security+), HR, or technical recruiting are a plus.
  • Familiarity with modern cybersecurity tools and technologies.
  • Experience recruiting for government or compliance-driven security roles.
