About the position

The Information Security Manager will lead efforts to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the organization's information systems. This role involves developing and maintaining security policies, ensuring compliance with security standards, and overseeing risk assessment and vulnerability management processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the organization's information security policies, procedures, and guidelines
• Ensure compliance with applicable security standards and regulations, including DCSA, NIST 800-53, and JSIG
• Lead the security risk assessment and mitigation processes for assigned information systems
• Oversee vulnerability management
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security into system designs and operational processes
• Serve as the primary point of contact for all security-related audits and assessments
• Train and guide team members on security best practices, emerging threats, and compliance requirements

Requirements

• Proven experience in information security, risk management, or a related field
• Working knowledge of DCSA, NIST 800-53, and JSIG
• Strong understanding of vulnerability assessment tools
• Comprehensive knowledge of security frameworks and industry best practices
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments
• Must hold a DoD Directive 8140 IAM Level III baseline certification or equivalent
