About the position

The Information Security Officer (ISO) at Citi plays a critical role in ensuring the safety of the bank's clients, revenue, employees, and proprietary data. This position involves overseeing and managing information security risks globally, working closely with various business functions and technology teams to ensure adherence to Citi's Information Security policies and standards. The ISO will focus on application security risk assessments and collaborate with technology partners to implement secure applications, contributing to a comprehensive information security program.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate and perform Information Security risk assessments and risk management processes to protect information assets.
• Drive the information security program and information risk management activities in collaboration with business and technology management.
• Develop strategies and plans for improving architecture and application security with internal Application Development teams.
• Provide strategic risk guidance for business and technology projects, including evaluating and recommending IS controls.
• Manage security incidents and events to protect corporate IT assets, including intellectual property and regulated data.
• Participate in the evaluation and selection of applications and systems with a focus on Information Security areas.
• Facilitate compliance with all Information Security policies, standards, and regulations as mandated by the Global CISO Organization.
• Provide IS awareness training programs for employees, contractors, and approved system users.

Requirements

• 6+ years of relevant experience in Information Security.
• Sound understanding of Information Security Domains such as Identity Access Management, Cryptography, Data Protection, Vulnerability Assessment, Single Sign-On, and Multi-Factor Authentication.
• Demonstrated ability to research and apply current information regarding the Information Security field.
• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven influencing and relationship management skills.
• Proven analytical skills.
