United Support Services, Inc. is currently seeking an Information System Security Specialist III (F5 Networks) to support the DC2HS contract. This role is pivotal in ensuring the security and compliance of information systems, particularly in relation to F5 Networks technologies. The specialist will be responsible for a variety of tasks including performing system software updates, tuning, patching, administration, monitoring, and maintenance. A key aspect of this position involves Information Assurance Vulnerability Management (IAVM) patching, as well as the registration of systems in the DON Application and Database Management System (DADMS). The specialist will also implement Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and maintain security compliance across systems. Additionally, the role requires responding to Communications Tasking Orders (CTOs), conducting audits, logging activities, and generating reports to ensure the integrity and security of the systems under management. The Information System Security Specialist will need to interpret server operational characteristics, accurately diagnose issues, and propose viable solutions. This position demands a thorough understanding of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process and familiarity with security policies and guidance documents. The specialist will assist in preparing and maintaining process artifacts and traceability documents necessary for compliance with Authority to Operate (ATO) requirements. Evaluating security solutions to ensure they meet the necessary security requirements for processing classified information is also a critical responsibility. The specialist will supervise and maintain the operational security posture for the information systems or programs they oversee. Candidates must possess a strong background in cybersecurity, engineering, and compliance, with specific experience in developing system security policies and ensuring adherence to change management and configuration control processes. This position is contingent upon contract award, and the successful candidate will be expected to relocate to South Carolina before starting work.
