About the position

The ALIS Administrator role at Lockheed Martin Aeronautics involves operational support for the F-35 Lightning II fighter unit, focusing on the security and integrity of systems that support military operations. This position requires a blend of technical skills in system administration, mission planning, and network management, with responsibilities that include troubleshooting, user support, and system maintenance. The role demands flexibility in working hours and travel for military deployments, ensuring the operational readiness of the F-35 systems.

Responsibilities

• Interact daily with users and ALIS/LM leadership
• Perform COMSEC duties and adhere to requirements
• Support pilots in Mission Planning/Debriefing and identify/resolve system shortfalls
• Install and update Joint Mission Planning System (JMPS) data
• Administer and monitor associated hardware/software and pilot accounts
• Maintain smooth, secure operation of multi-user computer systems
• Train ALIS Administrators and users on the ALIS system as needed
• Conduct backups, restores, and disaster recovery of systems/databases/network equipment
• Review processes/procedures and collect system operational data for analysis

Requirements

• Must have a Secret security clearance with investigation within the last 6 years
• Currently hold DoD IAT Level II certification (Security+, CySA+, or CCNA)
• IT experience in mission planning/system/network administration
• Knowledge of COMSEC processes and procedures
• Currently hold a valid US Passport

Nice-to-haves

• 2 years of experience in F-35 Mission Systems/Avionics
• Experience with Precision Guided Munitions Planning Software (PGMPS)
• Experience as Mission Planning Systems Support Representatives (SSR)
• Experience with COMSEC and COMSEC Responsible Officer (CRO)
• Experience with Personal Computer Debrief Software (PCDS)
• Familiarity with Lockheed Martin products and processes, including JSF ALIS hardware and software
