About the position
The Information Systems Administrator (Level 3) at Lockheed Martin is responsible for the operational support of the Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS) for the F-35 Lightning II program. This role involves ensuring the security and integrity of systems that support military operations, requiring a combination of system administration, network management, and user support. The position demands flexibility in working hours, including potential travel for military deployments, and the ability to work in various shifts to meet mission requirements.
Responsibilities
- Interact daily with users and ALIS/LM leadership
- Perform backups, restores, and disaster recovery of systems/databases/network equipment
- Maintain system/database/software/firewall/account maintenance and monitoring
- Install system-wide software and allocate mass storage space
- Ensure smooth, secure operation of multi-user computer systems through coordination with peers, Tier 2, and engineers
- Review processes/procedures and collect system operational data for analysis
- Re-image laptops, troubleshoot issues, and maintain accounts
- Regularly monitor systems/applications for availability and performance
Requirements
- Secret security clearance with investigation within the last 6 years
- Ability to obtain and retain DoD IAT Level II certification (Security+, CySA+, or CCNA) within 60 days of hire
- IT experience in system/database/network administration
- Knowledge of Windows, SQL, and Cisco products
Nice-to-haves
- Experience troubleshooting applications
- Account maintenance with Active Directory/Oracle/CRM
- Disaster recovery experience including backups and restores of physical servers, virtual machines, databases, and network equipment
- Virtual Machine Management Service (Hyper-V / VMware)
- Experience maintaining/upgrading system hardware
- Familiarity with Lockheed Martin products and processes, including JSF ALIS hardware and software
