About the position

The Information Systems Architect role is designed for individuals with extensive expertise in modern data and application architectures. This position combines strong technical leadership with exceptional communication skills, focusing on recommending strategic technical directions and promoting collaborative thinking within the team. The architect will ensure that development teams are equipped with the necessary guidance to deliver effective solutions while adhering to established architectural frameworks and standards.

Responsibilities

• Produces the detail surrounding accepted EA frameworks and logical system designs.
• Uses guiding principles & architectural policies to produce solution designs that anchor to IT portfolio standards and ensure long-term operational and administrative efficiencies.
• Provides detailed analysis and direction to development teams.
• Ensures delivery teams are equipped with the leadership and guidance necessary to successfully deliver their solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• 5-7 years of experience required.
• Requires knowledge of EA frameworks and design tools.
• Requires deep expertise in at least one technology domain.

Nice-to-haves

• Extensive experience in an information technology field.
• Extensive experience with SQL, Python, Databricks, Terraform, Azure Infrastructure, ELT architecture, lake house architecture, interface architecture, configuration driven architecture, etc.
• Experience working in a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) environment.
