About the position

The Information Systems Security Manager at RiVidium Inc. is responsible for overseeing the cybersecurity of various programs, organizations, systems, or enclaves. This role involves acquiring and managing resources to support IT security goals, advising senior management on risk levels and security posture, and ensuring the integration of cybersecurity requirements into organizational planning. The position requires collaboration with stakeholders to establish continuity of operations and the implementation of security improvement actions.

Responsibilities

  • Acquire and manage necessary resources to support IT security goals and reduce organizational risk.
  • Advise senior management on risk levels and security posture.
  • Conduct cost/benefit analysis of information security programs and policies.
  • Collect and maintain data for system cybersecurity reporting.
  • Communicate the value of IT security to all organizational stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to establish continuity of operations programs.
  • Ensure cybersecurity inspections and tests are coordinated for the network environment.
  • Establish overall enterprise information security architecture (EISA).
  • Evaluate and approve development efforts for baseline security safeguards.
  • Identify alternative information security strategies to meet organizational objectives.
  • Lead and oversee information security budget, staffing, and contracting.
  • Manage monitoring of information security data sources for situational awareness.
  • Oversee the information security training and awareness program.
  • Participate in information security risk assessments during the Security Assessment and Authorization process.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university, preferably in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or Computer Engineering.
  • CISSP-ISSMP or GSLC certification.
  • IAT, IAM, or IASAE Level 3 Certification.
