About the position

The Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) L4 at Galapagos Federal Systems LLC is a critical role responsible for overseeing the security and compliance of network systems. This position involves providing comprehensive Certification and Accreditation (C&A) support, conducting risk assessments, and managing documentation related to network assets. The ISSM will ensure that all necessary information is submitted into various Department of Defense (DOD) databases, maintaining compliance with cybersecurity standards and protocols.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the documentation of the quantity and specifications of installed network assets for certification and accreditation purposes.
• Conduct thorough risk assessments and manage attendant documentation.
• Submit risk assessments and related documentation into EMASS, EITDR, RMF, or other DIACAP databases for certification and accreditation purposes.
• Manage data entry and risk assessments to ensure successful certification and accreditation of systems and software.
• Ensure compliance with DOD information assurance and cybersecurity standards and protocols.
• Provide Certification and Accreditation (C&A) support for the program.

Requirements

• Secret Clearance
• 10+ years of experience/education providing cyber security, information systems security, RMF, C&A support
• Experience working with EMASS, creating DIACAP packages, and RMF procedures
• Extensive experience in information systems security management
• Deep understanding of Certification and Accreditation (C&A) processes, including DIACAP, RMF, EMASS, and EITDR
• Proven ability to conduct thorough risk assessments and manage complex documentation processes
• Strong knowledge of network assets and peripheral equipment specifications
• Proficiency in using C&A databases and tools
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Minimum high school diploma
• Minimum DoD 8570 IAT I compliance.
