About the position
The Information Systems Specialist at Command Cyber Solutions is responsible for server management and maintenance, supporting various network topologies and infrastructure. This role involves planning, directing, and coordinating the design, installation, management, and troubleshooting of hardware and software systems, ensuring the functionality and availability of systems while adhering to security standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide primary server administration and management.
- Plan, direct, and coordinate the design and installation of server and network systems.
- Manage and troubleshoot end user devices, peripherals, and server hardware/software.
- Implement and verify systems backup and restoration processes.
- Review proposed changes to server and network configurations.
- Lead system administration functions on designated application servers.
- Create, issue, and manage user accounts and passwords.
- Develop and enforce network security program standards.
- Support the Information Assurance program by preparing Certification and Accreditation packages.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Six years of combined experience in database administration, analysis, report reproduction, or system development.
- Valid CompTIA Security+ certification.
