About the position

B&H is seeking an experienced Applications Manager to oversee the development and administration of marketing, social media, and CRM applications. This role involves managing a team of administrators while also being hands-on in system administration. The candidate will collaborate with various teams to define business requirements, implement technical solutions, and ensure the applications are optimized and integrated effectively. The position focuses on maintaining data quality and providing technical support to enhance the efficiency of marketing operations.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of admins and oversee the day-to-day operation of marketing, social, and CRM applications.
  • Ensure proper configuration, optimization, and integration of applications with other systems.
  • Manage user access, system settings, and data synchronization, troubleshooting technical issues as they arise.
  • Oversee the marketing technology stack to ensure effective targeting and data management for email campaigns.
  • Analyze and manage customer data within the marketing application, ensuring its quality and security.
  • Serve as a liaison with other teams to own the strategy, design, and build out requirements for data models.
  • Participate in the research and evaluation of new technology and assist in the implementation of selected applications.
  • Ensure adherence to best practices in the development lifecycle, including documentation and quality assurance.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a system administrator of Digital Marketing applications (e.g., Emarsys, Salesforce).
  • 3+ years of experience as a technical manager/system admin of Social Media applications (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout).
  • 3+ years of experience managing technical admin teams.
  • Experience with database management (SQL, MySQL).
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • In-depth technical knowledge of data integration, XML, and APIs.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
