About the position

B&H is looking for a candidate that has experience strategizing, overseeing, implementing, administrating, and maintaining marketing, social media, and CRM Customer advocacy applications. The candidate will manage a team of admins in addition be hands on admin, working closely with the teams from digital marketing, social marketing, marketing data analyst, customer advocacy, product owners, business analysts, and marketing subject matter experts to define business requirements and build out technical solutions. They will also have experience designing & implementing new solutions and enhancements by utilizing system configuration capabilities, as well as working with development teams on building more complex customizations and integrations. The candidate will also work closely with data analysts and architects to develop robust reporting and analytical capabilities to support a data driven environment. This role will be the support for the Marketing, social, CRM applications, which they will rely on to maintain, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues, and provide expertise and guidance on how to utilize the technology (best practices). The role will focus on standardizing technical solutions for everyone on the team to be more efficient and more grounded in feature rich, intuitive, accessible, accurate, and reliable solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Managing a team of admins and a hands-on admin to maintain Marketing, social, CRM applications.
  • Responsible for the day-to-day operation and administration, ensuring that it is properly configured, optimized, and integrated with other systems.
  • Managing user access, system settings, data synchronization, and troubleshooting any technical issues that may arise.
  • Manage the marketing technology stack (Emarsys, Salesforce etc.) to ensure email campaigns target the correct contacts.
  • Ensure customer data is clean (subscription process, duplicate data).
  • Data management and analysis, responsible for managing customer data within the Marketing application.
  • Ensuring the quality, accuracy, and security of customer data.
  • Importing and exporting data, segmenting, and targeting customers based on specific attributes and behaviors.
  • Tracking and analyzing campaign performance using built-in features and add-on software applications.
  • Serve as point person and liaison with other teams including Digital, Social marketing, Customer advocacy, Web Team.
  • Own the strategy, design, and build out requirements for intake process, and data models.
  • Assist in the research and evaluation of new technology.
  • Actively participate in the implementation and deployment of selected applications.
  • Ensure best practices are followed when it comes to the development lifecycle.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a system administrator of Digital Marketing (Emarsys, Salesforce etc.) applications.
  • 3+ years of experience as a technical manager/system admin of Social Media applications (Hootsuite, Sprout).
  • 3+ years of experience managing technical admin teams.
  • Experience with database management (SQL, MySQL etc.).
  • Experience with HTML, CSS & JavaScript.
  • Experience with Medallia application a plus.
  • In-depth technical knowledge of topics such as data integration, XML APIs, etc.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to learn and understand new technologies and products quickly.
