About the position

The Product Manager at Novo Nordisk is responsible for leading the development of new IT solutions with a strong customer-centric approach. This role involves defining product vision and roadmap, collaborating with various stakeholders, and ensuring the successful execution of product initiatives within the Agile Release Train (ART). The Product Manager will work closely with business owners, IT teams, and external partners to prioritize features, manage the program backlog, and drive product lifecycle management, all while maintaining a focus on quality and organizational readiness.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and drive the definition of product vision and roadmap.
  • Work with stakeholders to establish the product vision and drive execution with the ART.
  • Build, prioritize, and maintain the Program Backlog.
  • Ensure the Program Backlog is up to date with input from Agile Teams, System Architects, and stakeholders.
  • Elaborate on features and define ART guardrails and capacity allocations.
  • Prepare the Program Backlog for PI planning to ensure execution of the roadmap.
  • Align with stakeholders and Agile Release Train to ensure product viability.
  • Clarify and coordinate dependencies with other Product Managers and Agile teams.
  • Ensure the ART delivers according to its commitment and work with the ART on a daily basis.
  • Drive the ART Product Owner community and ensure proactive product lifecycle management.
  • Handle/mitigate risks and dependencies on an ongoing basis.
  • Ensure feature delivery according to agreements and quality standards.
  • Coordinate releases and ensure organizational readiness and implementation.
  • Understand and prioritize technical enabler work.
  • Contribute in ART events and participate in PI planning and execution.
  • Lead system demos and participate in ART sync.

Requirements

  • 7+ years' experience in Product Management or similar function within IT or innovation.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, information systems, computer science, or related field preferred.
  • Strong business insight and knowledge related to products and roadmaps.
  • Ability to drive outcomes and seek innovative solutions.
  • Experience navigating within a global organization.
  • Proven track record of setting direction and communicating vision at all levels.
  • Experience with OneTrust strongly encouraged.
  • Experience in a pharmaceutical or highly regulated environment.
  • Experience working within a Data Privacy organization.
  • 1+ year experience in Agile methodologies.

  • Experience with data privacy regulations and compliance.
  • Familiarity with Agile frameworks and methodologies.
