About the position

As an Information Technology Analyst at dnata Catering, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems and support for inflight catering services. This role involves configuring and setting up PC workstations, managing software and hardware procurement, and providing user support to maintain optimal IT performance and enhance operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Configure and set up PC workstations, including image creation and maintenance, user/email accounts, and access permissions to client applications and data.
  • Procure software, hardware, and other IT-related resources; perform website modifications and updates.
  • Set up mobile devices, including procurement of devices and configuration of management software, and train end-users on their use.
  • Rectify computer problems and suggest appropriate actions/solutions.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot computer systems, hardware, printers, and peripherals.
  • Meet regularly and effectively with ticket submitters to address their IT concerns.
  • Curate records of daily data communication transactions, issues, and remedial actions taken or installation activities.
  • Provide computer desktop support in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Offer support on a variety of computer hardware and software issues by identifying, researching, and resolving technical problems.
  • Coordinate hardware repairs with appropriate vendors.
  • Proactively monitor the health of all networks to ensure maximum uptime.
  • Provide first and second-level investigation and resolution of network and firewall incidents, problems, and support.
  • Implement necessary network and firewall changes as needed.
  • Plan and develop automated solutions for company processes.
  • Participate in operational on-call rotation for critical support.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in IT support and analysis.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field of study.
  • Two to five years of experience with business processes, project management, and process improvement techniques.
  • Proficient in writing reports, business correspondence, user instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Proactive approach with the ability to take initiative with minimal direction and a strong desire to solve problems.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment by prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities effectively.
  • Experience in desktop support or related fields.
  • Previous experience in running and terminating low voltage and fiber cable.
  • Solid understanding of ticketing systems.
  • Strong familiarity with desktop imaging.
  • Proficient with desktop operating systems.
  • Foundational knowledge of desktop hardware.
  • Experience with Microsoft Power Apps, Power BI, and the Office 365 suite, including SharePoint.
  • Working knowledge of Cisco Meraki products.
