About the position
The IT Generalist 2 position at the Employment, Banking and Revenue IT Delivery Center involves working with the State Workers Insurance Fund to manage complex business processes and coordinate with internal and external partners. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with a strong foundation in IT development concepts, project management, and software testing methods.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret technical materials such as specifications, manuals, and project documentation.
- Analyze business processes and identify functional requirements.
- Utilize knowledge of IT development concepts and practices.
- Apply principles of information technology project management.
- Conduct software testing methods effectively.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders.
Requirements
- One year as an Information Technology Generalist 1, Applications Developer 1, or Network Specialist 1; or
- Four years of information technology experience including one year of technical experience in applications development, network operation, or other IT support services; or
- Two years of IT experience with one year of technical experience and an associate's degree in any IT field; or
- A bachelor's degree in any information technology field; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
