We are hiring a great opportunity for a Information Technology (IT) Generalist - Top Secret clearance . This position will be based in Bangor, WA and the position is required to be onsite. This position will require U.S. Citizenship and an active DoD TS/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph. The Information Technology (IT) Generalist performs on-site technical expertise in a manner consistent with the Activity's OCIO IT and cybersecurity policies and procedures. Responsibilities The IT Generalist is responsible for operating and maintaining mission, local, and enterprise information systems. The IT Generalist supports a wide array of mission IT systems, applications, and services that span desktop operating systems (OSs), workstations, thin clients, video teleconferencing systems, printers, scanners, multifunction printers, network devices, and endpoints. The IT Generalist is responsible for conducting general operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting information systems. The IT Generalist also provides on-site expertise for facility monitoring systems such as facility alarm systems, business telephone systems, access control, video surveillance, and other technology as specified by the customer. The IT Generalist is responsible for maintaining a strong cybersecurity posture for mission and local systems by applying patches and mitigating vulnerabilities, as well as responding to data calls conducted by the Activity's senior leadership. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: Four (4) or more years of IT experience in one or more of the following areas: desktop administrator, network administrator. server administrator, or service desk technician. Demonstrated experience in the following areas: Deploying, patching, managing, and maintaining Microsoft Windows or Linux enterprise systems. Providing physical and/or virtual desktop support services to a variety of end user computing, network, virtualization, and storage platforms and applications such as thick, thin, zero clients, virtual machines, storage area networks, routers, switches, and TACLANES, etc. Independently troubleshooting and resolving system errors, bugs, and configurations. Creating accounts/objects in Active Directory and applying configurations through Group Policy Objects. Conducting vulnerability mitigation, patching, and maintaining a strong information system security posture through the application of DISA STIGs. Managing Microsoft and third-party application software installation, configuration, life cycle management, and inventory. Working with remote monitoring and management tools to troubleshoot, assess, and resolve issues across a globally dispersed IT enterprise. Shall meet the minimum credential requirements for a Cyber IT/Cybersecurity workforce (CSWF) position Ability to quickly adapt to new and changing technology. Travel Requirements Position may include limited, flexible domestic travel, not to exceed 10% annually. Desired Qualifications Demonstrated experience with one or more of the following technology areas: facility/alerting notification, Private Branch Exchange business telephone system, access control, video surveillance, or alarm systems.
